A few specific areas where we need people to prayerfully consider getting engaged is the sound ministry and Hope 1:27 (foster and adoption ministry) as it relates to the inauguration of the CarePortal. The training for the CarePortal will take place this coming Tuesday night at 8 p.m. via zoom (a change from the video announcement as well as previous emails). If you aren’t sure what CarePortal is you can watch
THIS introductory video about it. Even if you aren’t sure of your availability and your level of involvement, just join the training because you will receive a lot of information and have a better understanding of how it works and how to plug into the ministry. The other need is for additional sound volunteers meaning people to run the sound board during the worship service. Next week we will install a brand new soundboard and so now is the time to jump in and get involved as we need you and we will train you! This is an exciting time for our church family! The baptisms a couple weeks ago were great, but there are more to come! If you haven’t been baptized since coming to faith in the Lord Jesus, then please join us in a baptism class on June 6 and June 13 at 9 a.m. prior to the worship service. The baptisms themselves will take place on June 20. They heaved and shifted my paralyzed body this way and that, trying to fit me into it, but when I sat back in my wheelchair, I groaned. In the mirror, I looked like a float in the Rose Parade.”
